Alycia Levy Obtains Dismissal on Merits of Retaliation Complaint for Firm Client JPMorgan Chase Bank

The Firm obtained a dismissal of a retaliation complaint filed by a former JPMorgan Chase Bank employee against her former employer at the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. Plaintiff alleged that she was terminated in retaliation for filing a workers’ compensation claim in violation of Section 120 of the Workers’ Compensation Law. Testimony was heard before an Administrative Law Judge in the Discrimination Unit with Alycia Levy conducting the direct examination and cross-examination of the witnesses. The complaint was dismissed from the bench after the close of testimony.
