Charles B. Updike and Beth L. Kaufman were dinner committee members for the Annual Federal Bar Council Law Day Dinner, held at the Waldorf Astoria on April 30, 2009. Hon. Lewis A. Kaplan, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of New York, received the Council's Learned Hand Medal for excellence in federal jurisprudence.
