Firm Attorneys Join National Association of Women Judges in Travel to Observe Cuban Legal System

Firm attorneys Stephanie Scharf, Sarah Marmor and Rebecca Fruchtman joined members of the National Association of Women Lawyers and National Association of Women Judges on a recent trip for professional research on the Cuban legal system. The seven day trip included formal and informal sessions with judges, law professors, practitioners, advocates and citizens involved in various aspects of providing legal services. Schoeman’s attorneys came away with a greater understanding of the challenges that face Cuba’s legal system, and an appreciation for the natural beauty of the country as well as the vibrancy of its people.
