Mindy H. Stern to Speak at NYSBA Real Property Law Section Summer Meeting

Mndy H. Stern will be participating as a Speaker at the New York State Bar Association Real Property Law Section Summer meeting on July 17, 2009.

The presentation, entitled What Every Dirty Lawyer Should Know about Trusts and Estates, will be a basic overview of the federal and New York estate tax - a "hot topic" in Washington with the current federal law set to expire next year. Ms. Stern will discuss how to assist clients with transfers or real property to lifetime trusts, upon death, or by gift, and which estate planning techniques are most appropriate for real estate.
