Stephanie Scharf is Featured Lawyer in Chicago Lawyer Magazine

Chicago office founding partner Stephanie Scharf was interviewed for the March issue of Chicago Lawyer, in a feature article that describes her practice in complex litigation for major corporations, including work on matters of science and technology, and her contributions to the advancement of women in the law. The article highlights Scharf’s founding of the NAWL Survey for the Advancement of Women in the Law and the broad impact of the Survey on the legal profession. The interview also described the special aspects of the Firm’s work structure and practices, and the impact on client service. As Scharf observed, “Big firms make much of their profit by assigning lower-paid associates, staff attorneys and contract lawyers to do the bulk of the work. In contrast, we have mostly senior people and very few junior people. When you hire us, you get experienced people with good business judgment."
