Scharf Participates in CBA Panel on Lateral Hiring

On September 21, 2010, partner Stephanie Scharf participated in a CLE panel hosted by the Chicago Bar Association on the subject of lateral moves by lawyers, at the associate and partner levels. The panel addressed the many reasons why lawyers make lateral moves and factors about the firm and its lawyers that enhance the success of a lateral move. Ms. Scharf is chair of an annual survey of law firms sponsored by the National Association of Women Lawyers which addresses a number of subjects about the advancement of lawyers in firms, including the impact of lateral movement.
