Jeong Eun Lee-Nago is an intellectual property law specialist concentrating on patent prosecution, technology licensing, research agreements, and opinion work in a wide range of industries. Ms. Lee-Nago is a registered patent attorney and regularly represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Examples of technology she has worked on include medical devices, biotechnology, lab equipment, toys, pet chews, security systems, imaging equipment, lighting systems and products, eyewear, packages and packaging systems, and file organization systems to name a few. Ms. Lee-Nago has represented clients of various sizes, including pharmaceutical companies, sole inventors, entrepreneurs, start-up companies, large corporations, and universities.
With over 15 years of practice, Ms. Lee-Nago has prosecuted numerous U.S. and PCT patent applications. She conducts clearance investigations as well as patentability studies for clients, and advises them thereon to help them minimize their risks. She also counsels clients on global patent issues and long-term intellectual property strategies, and manages clients’ global patent portfolios. From negotiating and drafting research agreements to license agreements, her involvement spans all intellectual property needs of the clients.
