Deirdre J. Sheridan

Ms. Sheridan handles complex business litigation, including representation of clients in employment, intellectual property, products liability, ERISA and commercial disputes. She has represented clients in state and federal courts across the country, litigating complex matters from start to finish. Ms. Sheridan has particular expertise working with clients to effectively and efficiently resolve disputes, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution or litigation of matters through dispositive motion practice, trial and/or appeal.

Before joining Schoeman Updike & Kaufman, Ms. Sheridan was a litigation associate in New York with two international firms, first Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP and then Dorsey & Whitney LLP. She started her legal career as law clerk to the Honorable Raymond J. Dearie, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
