During his career Mr. Carb has represented a broad spectrum of clients in their commercial ventures, including: formation and attendance to regulatory qualification of several New York stock brokerage firms; establishment of a New York life insurance company, and attendance to its licensing, regulatory and management matters, public equity offerings, as well as extended Board of Directors service; formation of a cable television enterprise, now publicly owned, acquisition of its initial operating systems and legal guidance during its first decade of operations; representation of retail department store enterprise in the reorganization of its corporate structure and other internal aspects of its operations; representation of commercial laundry service business and disposition of its assets to a public company; organization of several real estate brokerage firms, attendance to their ownership arrangements, governance and personnel matters, acquisitions of related businesses and investments; review and negotiation of agreements relating to commercial real estate brokerage and building management, including brokerage commissions, management and leasing agreements, employment contracts, confidentiality and non disclosure agreements, contracts for telecommunications access and other commercial property service arrangements.

Mr. Carb currently concentrates his practice on advising clients in the real estate field and in other private ventures as to internal business problems, ownership arrangements, confidential personnel and employment matters, and private acquisitions. He is familiar with and has negotiated, prepared or reviewed a variety of partnership and shareholder agreements, limited liability company operating agreements, employment and consulting contracts, private offering memoranda and subscription agreements. Mr. Carb is also a trustee of a series of trusts for the benefit of the family of a deceased client, and regularly consults with family members and their financial advisors on business and personal affairs.
