Mr. Paolucci joined the firm after serving as long-time Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel for Equity Group Investments, L.L.C., a renowned and highly regarded private investment firm, whose principal is Sam Zell.  Mr. Paolucci has extensive experience executing complex and innovative business transactions world-wide, including acquisitions, mergers, dispositions, private equity, venture capital, financings, refinancings, white knight transactions, joint ventures, third party fund investments and public securities transactions.  Mr. Paolucci has an outstanding track record for moving rapidly from initial proposal through structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing, particularly when short time frames are critical to realization of business objectives.

Mr. Paolucci has proven skills in hands-on execution of transactions requiring command of complex financial and operational dynamics of diverse businesses and industries including the pharmaceutical, medical testing, health management, public media, energy, oil and gas exploration, environmental services, public cruise vessel, commercial barge transportation, alcoholic beverage and airline industries.

Mr. Paolucci received his J.D. from Cornell University Law School and his M.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Chicago.
