Updike Serves as Guest Faculty Member at New York Law School

Partner Charles Updike participated as a guest faculty member of New York Law School on February 15. Mr. Updike was invited by New York Supreme Court Justice Helen Freedman to participate in her class on mass torts. Mr. Updike provided the defense perspective on issues such as use of multidistrict panels, Daubert and Frye hearings, consolidated discovery and consolidated trials. He was joined by a member of the plaintiff's bar, with the discussion guided by Justice Freedman. In addition to Mr. Updike, partner Beth Kaufman has been a regular contributor to Justice Freedman's mass torts course.
