Scharf Speaks on Pharmaceutical and Device Post-Sale Duties at ABA Annual Meeting

Partner Stephanie Scharf, member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice, was an invited speaker at the Annual Meeting of the American Bar Association in San Francisco on August 10, 2007. Ms. Scharf spoke at a special three hour session entitled, “Post Sale Duty to Warn, Recall, and Retrofit” and specifically addressed post-sale warnings about prescription devices and pharmaceuticals, including the impact that new policies of the U.S.F.D.A. may have on corporate conduct.
